any one find the irony in the fact that in GRB you can litrerally encourage the enemy team to nearly rage quit and dominate the enitre game in a single cas plane... but in NRB to even get close enough to be able to drop a single bomb is literally almost impossible. and hell this just be a skill issue in myself with tmy abiolities when it comes to naval warfare but even so i have never seen the enemy or a teammate fly intoa battle with a dive bomber / torpedo plane and open a fresh cold can of kick ass onto the battle field and dominating a single match with any sorta plane.. and i say this with wanting to bring this up for anyone interested. but what if in GRB they made it that hard or even half that difficult as in NRB to single handily ppiss ooff a whole lotta ppl and turn the tide of battle in your favor with a cas plane and bring home the W for your team. what if on your tanks or whatever vehicles your turrets or AA guns were manned automagically and started to pop off on closing cas and could be be turned off manually like in Naval but not to have it go after ground vehicles and you alrady could see the BS that would ruin for someone flanking or hiding or someothiung like that but just have the ability to turn off or on and it would only shoot at cas planes or bombers close enought or within a certain distance that u have upgraded that crew mate to shoot at some accurately? now is this wishful thinking? or the marijuana talking? if i am forgetting something important or if any sort of variable comes to your mind that this idea would ruin or make better pls let me know CMDR JUICYGINJER OUT!!

Very nice intro. The floatplanes are one of the biggest strenght of Warthunder naval, specially in EC. Used well they win you games easily. We don't have submarines yet but if we get them I'll be waiting for the floatplanes some Japanese sub could carry, the Aichi M6A. It was pretty fast and could carry a 800kg bomb or a torpedo.

Hopefully we get the ability to "reload" catapults with stored aircraft for ships that carried multiple floatplanes historically I'm also hoping that we eventually get the S 9 (unique Swedish Osprey variant) aboard the cruiser Gotland. The S 9 is notable for being the first aircraft to spot Bismarck and Prinz Eugen heading north during Operation Rheinübung. The report eventually made its way to the Royal Navy and resulted in the hunt for Bismarck. Not bad for a neutral stringbag

G'day, IMO, the bravest crews are the damage control crews as they're often tasked with saving a ship & in sometimes the worst conditions like heavy flooding. You technically missed two catapult aircraft although they're not playable currently due to reasons. Curtis O3U-1 Cosair, found on the USS Wyoming while in the port view, iirc on turret No. 4 there's a catapult with two aircraft yet they disappear in play. Fairey IIIF Mk.IIIB, Found only in the files & has lots of economics data yet hasn't been shown on any ship. IIRC there was a Fairey Seafox on the HMNZS Leander a few years ago yet was removed & replaced with the Hawker Osprey Mk. IV. While I don't use catapult armed WARships often, I do have a madman's orders to send an aircraft up when within a thousand metres of an enemy ship to drop bombs on my belligerent as a nasty surprise (has worked a few times). NGL, I wish the Courageous class Large Light Cruiser HMS Glorious had its Sopwith Camel and Sopwith 1½ Strutter for its flying off platforms for the further lolz, Or the Minelayer/ Seaplane Tender Drache to receive its Flettner FI 282 helicopter for further lolz.

I love the little catapult planes. All the British BBs without a scout plane are all so sad. The ones with bombs are probably going to be very important when submarines come out.

What do you think of the mortar in this game? I find it extremly versatile. It's useful in base clearing, hitting small boats from long range, and putting smoke screen on big ships so they won't shoot you while you sneak upon them.

I really don’t think we should be allowed to see all enemy ship and sub movements where our ships are not.. Being able to know where every ship is on the map and also know a fleet is coming to you before it even begins moving after the turn is to easy.

Ok, one, great video, two, you didn't show the after-action report on the Mataka, maybe she got hit by some stray torpedoes? She flooded out, and there's absolutely no way shells that small can go through a 9 inch belt to cause flooding, or that damage control failed so badly it got all the compartmens flooded. If she was killed by sheer damage, it would have shown it was killed by structural damage or by extensive fire.

Ok why is there competition between the Corsair and Kittyhawk as your favourite? You gotta pick the Kittyhawk fuck the Corsair its trash. Anyways....speaking of aircraft. They may wanna tone down on the Ki 84s. There's a massive imbalance. The Carriers are launching.....vals. which to its credit are accurate and in all fairness you've reached the point of the enemy sending Ki 84s but the airbases launch something actually potent the carriers don't. Also the sheer number of airfields present need to be reduced a bit. Mosy of the islands could do a seeplane base at best. Still a fun episode non the less, lots of gunfire. Just ny critital eye has a loud voice.🤣

Sank the Ryuujo yesterday about 2 hours after the patch. Took 6 battles all in quick succession as the task force anchored near one of our bases. What a battle that was.

Oh Captain, even more good news. You can now command Mutiple boats without Sinking, up to 3 including the one you are currently commanding. Id imagine buying a new boat is pretty expensive but hay you can do it now, I suppose it helps with Different loadouts and each boat does have its own "perks and quirks". Edit: 1 google serach later, JESUS those Ki 84s are armed with 30mm and 20mm cannons. Yikes, their basically the Japanese Corsairs.
